DHS goes up against Fordson High School this week in a battle to see which school can bring in more cans of food for Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.
Last year’s challenge saw these long-time rivals battle it out until the very last minute when Fordson edged out DHS by 6,000 cans. Both schools brought in a combined total of over 40,000 cans. ($1.00 donation equals 4 cans.)
This year DHS is looking to get even…and to help feed even more families!
The Battle Against Hunger ends this Friday, October 14 when the winner is announced at the DHS vs. Fordson Varsity football game at Fordson High School.
