Congrats to our seniors whose last day was today! They are an amazing group of students and I’m eager to recognize them at senior honors and commencement in a few weeks. For those students interested in attending the Senior Party, tickets are still available but won’t be sold at the door, email Ms. Joachim @ Lisajeffj@yahoo.com to get them. Also, there are yearbooks available for sale if you didn’t get one, email Mr. Atkins @ firstname.lastname@example.org Lastly, please encourage your kids to be safe and make responsible decisions as always.
We need your help. If you haven’t already, please let us know how we’re doing by completing this survey: https://goo.gl/vT1PSz It’ll only be available until May 31st and we need 200 more parents to respond; survey responses are anonymous and serve to help us get better.
As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow May 26th and Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.
On May 24th, we were able to recognize 4 Pioneers who gave their lives for our country. Our recognized fallen heroes were Sgt. Walter Blankertz, WWI, graduated in the the 1910’s, Lt. George Levagood, WWII, class of 1935, Pvt. Howard Ballentine, Korean War, class of 1951, and Capt. James L. Huard, Vietnam War, class of 1963. These soldiers stories were shared by current students Adam Bazzi, Maya Hamka, Celine Nasser, and William Dobbs; our students did a great job researching and sharing about their soldier. Use this weekend to remember those who have paid the greatest sacrifice.
