Week 10

Hello Parents,

For those of you that were able to attend our Parent Teacher conferences a few weeks back, thank you so much. We had nearly 1,000 students represented which is truly remarkable. For those that were unable to make conferences, report cards were given to students last week and as always, if you have any questions please email your child’s teachers.

Being in our 10th week, there are a lot of great things that have happened so far in the school year. I’d like to brag on our kids a little bit, so here goes. If I forget someone, I apologize; much of this success began before school began. Great job, everyone!

  • Congrats to the Dearborn High School Pioneer Marching Band on their very successful showing at the MSBOA Marching Band Festival. They earned straight 1’s and straight A’s, the highest scores a marching band can achieve at the competition

  • Congrats to the Varsity girls golf team for qualifying for the state finals

  • Congrats to Varsity boys soccer for winning the district championship and making it to regional finals

  • Congrats to Varsity boys football for qualifying for playoffs

  • Congrats to Varsity girls field hockey for making it to the division two state semifinals

  • Congrats to Varsity boys cross country for having 2 state qualifiers

For those of you planning ahead, we do not have school next Tuesday, November 6th as it is a teacher Professional Development day along with election day.

November 8-10th and 15-17th is the performance of our fall school play, The Good Doctor. There are performances each night and I strongly encourage you to attend; they do a fabulous job.

Congratulations to all the students that received induction letters to NHS. You should be proud of all the work and success your children have had.
