Huge thanks to everyone involved in helping make yesterday’s School to Tools ( Trades Awareness) event a success. We had over 200 students participating and many more who were curious. We received excellent feedback from the reps and apprentices as well. Career awareness is such a pivotal component which helps students find purpose thus increasing classroom engagement/learning. The guests appreciated all the staff members that came down to chat and check out the various activities especially the AR/VR component.
Huge shoutout to Ms. Jeehan Nasir – our Career Academy Lead Teacher – who coordinated this wonderful event for our students.
Thank YOU for your patience during student drop off and pick up as I am aware that student drop off and pick up went slower than usual due to the trailer in our lot. All students involved had a great experience and found it to be well worth it.
