K-12 Philosophy on Grading During School Closure 2020
Individual teachers will be responsible for assessing student progress and providing feedback. Assignments will be graded and entered in MiStar. Work completed prior to April 20th that demonstrates a student’s mastery of learning will count toward his/her grade.
Appeal Process
If a student receives an N (which is no credit) for the sixth marking in June of 2020, and can show evidence as to why he/she deserves credit, the student may submit an appeal for this grade. The student must contact the Executive Director of Student Achievement for their feeder track and complete this Grading Appeals Form. The form must be submitted by June 15th, 2020.
