Girls Get Math Summer Program at U of M – Dearborn

GirlsGetMath@Dearborn is a five-day mathematics program at the University of Michigan – Dearborn that is open to 15 high school students who live in the Metro Detroit area. We will explore topics such as cryptography, the mathematics of voting, image processing, prime numbers and factoring, and fractals. Students will learn through interactive lectures, games and daily computer lab activities.

In Summer 2021 the program will be virtual, meeting July 26 – 30, 9 am – 12 pm.

There is no fee for those selected to participate, but students are expected to commit to attending all five days.
