Leaders Advancing & Helping Communities will be hosting their Youth Leadership Bridge to College Program on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 – 5:00pm, May 13th through June 19th.
“Our Youth Leadership Bridge to College Program (YLBTCP) is an innovative solution to equip high school youth with invaluable 21st century skills that will allow them to change themselves and the world through service. Using an evidence-based curriculum, the YLBTCP provides various seminars and activities that are focused on leadership and life skills, job readiness, college access education, financial literacy, educational and career goal setting, strategic planning as well as empowering them to make a difference in their communities. Throughout the course of the program, youth participants are exposed to various learning opportunities ranging from: resume building, personal branding, communication and social media etiquette, community action, leadership, public speaking, and college preparation.”
