Congratulations to Mr. Mccloskey and the members of the String Orchestra and Symphonic Band who performed on March 10th at the annual MSBOA Band & Orchestra Festival. The orchestra earned an “excellent” rating and the band earned a “superior” rating, with a “1” (majority A marks) from all three judges.
Congratulations to the DHS boys varsity basketball team on winning an MHSAA District championship with a 61-54 victory over Divine Child on Friday, March 11th. The Pioneers advance to the regional round of play on Monday, March 14th against Detroit Cass Tech at 7:00 PM. The game will be played at River Rouge High School.
