The Regional Students Emmy nominations are out and Dearborn High School earned 14 nominations– the most we’ve ever had. 17 different students were nominated, including an astounding 7 each for Hassan and Hussein Almaliki and 4 for freshman Jesse Good. Only 2 short films were nominated for Best Long Form Fiction and both were ours: “Reaper” had 3 total nominations and “Beyond the Darkness” had 7. The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 23rd at Michigan State University.
