Arab American Heritage Fair

April is  Arab American Heritage Month! During this time, we celebrate Arab Americans throughout the past and present, and recognize their invaluable contributions to our country. It also serves as a time to combat Anti-Arab bigotry and to challenge stereotypes and prejudices while promoting acceptance. At Dearborn High School, my Principal Student Advisory Council (along with our cultural clubs – Lebanese Student Association, Arabic Club, Discover Islam Club, Amity Club, etc) hosted a Culture Fair for each of the three regions in the Arab World – Levant, Gulf and North African Regions.  Cultural displays, foods, music and so much more were on display. Thank you to all of our donors, students and staff who helped make this event a huge success! Special thanks to Ms. Hiba Hider who took the lead on this! It was a fun day for all!
