Ford Philanthropy is bringing the world-famous Ford Driving Skills for Life program back to Dearborn on June 6-7. Even better, this year’s event is being held at a very special, highly exclusive location: the Ford Dearborn Development Center. The DDC is Ford’s premier vehicle testing and engineering hub located on the historic site of the original Ford Airport. It features specialized test tracks and advanced laboratories where our engineers fine-tune the performance, handling, and durability of new vehicles before they reach the market.

Event Details:

• Dates: June 6-7 (two sessions each day to choose from)
• Location: Ford Dearborn Development Center
• Who: Permitted or recently-licensed teen drivers
• Cost: 100% free (with advanced registration)
• Note: This event will fill up!
• What: During the clinic, teens will get behind the wheel with professional instructors to learn life-saving skills like hazard recognition, vehicle handling, and skid control. Since 2003, Ford Philanthropy has taken Ford Driving Skills For Life to cities around the country, teaching these important advanced skills.
