Hello 11th grade students and families,

We will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT to interested 11th-grade students on Tuesday October 14th, from 7:50 a.m. until 12:00 p.m in the Media Center.

The PSAT/NMSQT has two purposes. First, it’s a “preliminary” SAT, meaning it’s an excellent way to practice for the actual SAT. It has a similar format, content, and scoring to the SAT, which helps students become familiar with the test structure and identify areas where they need to improve.

Second, the test is the official qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Program. High-scoring juniors can be considered for recognition and scholarships, which can be a significant benefit for college.

If you are interested, sign up using this form by Friday, October 3rd. The fee for the test is $5, which must be paid to our school’s main office by Wednesday, October 8th.
